Although classically trained actress (‘Bottega teatrale’ with Vittorio Gassman, ‘Mim’ with Orazio Costa, degrees in Modern Languages and History of the Theatre in Florence, ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, focusing recently on afro dances and cultures), she has played alternatively for the circuit in the classical and contemporary repertoire, worked as speaker for the Chamber of Deputies and been teaching in public schools, in the years continuing a more exciting research on speech and sound, which she started in Florence with Gabriella Bartolomei, and deepening her studies of philosophy and anthropology, linguistics, even physics, history of religions and especially of... Music, music from the world, their internal rhythms and melodic voices.
From ‘99 she has increased her distance from the usual ways of “making theatre” in Italy, that she felt inadequate in the response to the needs of a modern audience, and a real wrong to an art ‘so vital’ as that of the Theatre, and joined international dancers and musicians from India, Africa and South America.
